It wasn’t quite the Dettori Seven. but Liz and Rab McNair had a Swindon Saturday to remember when they sent out six winners and a second from their seven runners in the 73rd Two Year Old Produce Stakes.
In his column on this site earlier in the week, Rab McNair said his greatest wish was to see King Lennon demonstrate his class and the son of Eden The Kid and Skate on did just that with the fastest time seen at the track since Donation’s 28.56 run last December.
All six McNair winners broke 29.00 with only King Idol letting the side down but also qualifying for Wednesday’s second round. The trap draw will take place at the GBGB offices on Monday.
Rab McNair said: “I couldn’t have been happier with all the dogs and they are absolutely bouncing this morning. I was particularly pleased for Jo Atkins. She schools all our pups at the Bicester Schooling track and has done an outstanding job.”
