English Derby quarter-finalist Sidarian Teejay had his first four bend trial for eight months at Hove on Monday.
Dean Childs’ runner, who last ran in the Derby Invitation Back in May, clocked a calculated 27.52sec for 475 metres. That follows a 14.05sec for 240 metres last week.
His Droopys Noir, who looked a potential top draw stayer before getting injured in a fall at Monmore last spring, clocked a calculated 27.87sec.
Elevenerife, who ran in the final of the recent Gold Cup at Shelbourne Park for Graham Holland, clocked 16.69sec for 285 metres in his first spin for new connections.
