Sittingbourne’s Tuesday night trial session saw many of next week’s contenders for next week’s Chelsea Glass Trainers Championship put through their paces.
Star of the night over the 265m course was Kevin Hutton’s five-timer Glenanore Ace with a 16.14 (TR 16.00) run. Others of interest included Millwards Whitey (16.23), Swift Whirlwind (16.59) and Droopys Story (16.60).
Over the standard, Paul Young’s Coronation Cup winner Millwards Master clocked a superb 28.89, Mark Wallis’ Domino Storm (28.96) impressed for a second week on going rated .10 slow. Others of note included Kevin Hutton’s Willie Whitesocks (28.98), Paul Young’s Ajlo Leagalbeagle (29.00), plus Droopys Dart (29.02), Across The Way (29.04), Calco Flyer (29.07), Ballymac Shirley (29.08), Clondoty Alex (29.09), Droopys Costa, Teejays Panther (29.11), Farloe Axle (29.14), Monty Don (29.15), Forest Twilight (29.17), Droopys Elite (29.19), Jaytee Osprey (29.22).
Over the 500 course, Kevin Hutton’s Jet Stream Sound beat kennelmate Jet Stream Sound by eight and a half in 29.96. The Wallis kennel’s Droopys Achieve beat Roswell Iceman by a surprising three and a bit in 30.2o.
Wallis’ Garryglass Pixie was quickest over the 642m course in 40.36 while kennelmate Billys Bullet ran a 708m solo in 44.69, 12 spots slower than Hayley Keightley’s Roxholme Magic.
