With 24 hours until the cut-off, Henlow’s Martin Race is very hopeful that Sunday’s Greyhound Star Marathon will get a full entry.
He said: “We have 14 in the book already, so you would have to think we have a chance of getting a full entry. The Gold Cup entries are also flying in. It is great to be back on the open race scene again, we love putting on better quality races.”
The 874m Greyhound Star Marathon closes at 1pm on Thursday (Feb 29). The final is worth £2,500, with £400 to the runner-up and £150 for the other finalists.
