Skywalker Rory is the latest runner to be scratched from the Boylesports Irish Derby.
Trainer Graham Holland said: “I was hoping he was just tired, but I feared the worst when I checked him over during the day. It is not a serious injury, a stress fracture of a metacarpal in the hock, but it means he can’t run on Saturday. He should be back in about six weeks. All the others appear to be okay – though I am touching a tree as I say it.”
