A series of changes in the SIS schedule can be viewed as the start of the transition from their ‘divorce’ from the Entain and the introduction of the new service with ARC from January.
The most noticeable change will see all SIS weekday afternoon meetings reduced from 14 to 12 races. In addition, the Friday morning cards at Hove and Harlow will reduce to 12 races, from 14.
There will be some minor changes to a number of the morning and afternoon starting times though evenings remain unaltered.
Although the venue hasn’t been confirmed, the introduction of two Monday and Friday ‘brunch’ meetings are expected to take place at The Valley in Wales.
The changes are due to come into effect on October 2 – though overall – there will be no change in the number of races scheduled.
