It appears that the betting industry is planning for the resumption of greyhound racing without the need the on-course bookies.
With Coronavirus instigated ‘racing behind closed doors’ providing the opportunity for the adoption of ‘industry pricing’ instead of SPs produced by on-course bookmakers, technology company Allsported, part of the Racing Post group, . . . . has stepped in with an alternative solution.
It remains to be seen whether Government will deem the latest development ‘based on algorithms’ to be in the best interests of greyhound bettors.
