Reigning champion Shotgun Bullet has been cut to 16/1 with the sponsors after posting a fastest of the night 45.66sec in a Ladbrokes Golden Jacket Trial Stakes at Crayford on Saturday. Derek Knight’s runner was quickly into his stride and never looked in danger as he soon took control on his way to a seven length success over outsider of the party Piper Arthur.
AAYAMZA BREEZE clocks an impressive 45.00 (+30) over the 714m Golden Jacket course in a solo trial.

The event favourite, Brigadier Bullet, was trimmed to 5/1 after hammering his rivals by over nine lengths in his warm-up for the event and he can be expected to improve on his 45.79sec effort in what was his first outing at the track.
Other Jacket hopefuls trialled before racing on faster going with Aayamza Breeze clocking a very smart 45.00sec (+30) and Olympic runner-up Queenies Shadow returning 45.62sec (+30).
