Hee Haws Sheriff was an impressive winner of the Gain Select Stakes over 525 yards at Waterford on Saturday.
Ian Reilly’s runner was away to a flyer and slipped five lengths clear after the first turn which saw some bunching amongst his rivals.
Go Dex Go trained locally by Phillip Gough, came out of the pack but was still three lengths adrift of the leader, who went on to win in 28.73sec.
The time was out in the shade by Munster Oaks runner-up Yahoo Perlena, who was a trap to line winner of the Open Bitch Stake in 28.36sec.
