Shelbourne Park’s management took the decision to abandon Saturday’s meeting, due to feature the third round of the Healthcare & Transport Puppy Oaks over 525 yards, because of a heavy track.
Persistent rain caused the going to become very slow and after running three races, the last of which was assessed at 1.30sec slow, the decision was taken to call it off.
The Puppy Oaks quarter -finals will now be run on Wednesday’s card and the semi-finals will be back on schedule and run next Saturday.
