There might be three English and three Irish trained runners in the RPGTV Scottish Derby but there will be no shortage of tartan hounds in the five opens supporting the three finals at Shawfield on Saturday.
Sassenach Barry Draper’s 29.42 trialist Glenpadden Oak will probably start as the night’s shortest priced runner, though local favourite Nadurra Cormac will surely be well supported in the night’s sprint open.
