Ante post favourite Roxholme Hat (Ballymac Vic-Emma Honey, May 15) set a new Belle Vue 260m track record in the first round of the BAPP Group Of Companies Scurry Cup.
The Hayley Keightley trained 11-10f ran from trap one. . .
The winner’s time of 14.88 was a length inside the previous best held by Drumcove Lad since 2011. Hat was followed home by Suirside Leah (T4 4-1) and Lacken Decco (T5 9-4)
The second heat winner Trapstyle Jet (Droopys Jet-Cairns Risky, May 14) was also inside the old clock with a 14.89 run for Jean Liles. The British bred black (T3 7-4f) led home Drumcrow Bee (T4 9-4) and Some Vision (T6 16-1) with Doncaster record breaker Pinpoint Mo (T2 9-4) missing a place in the final by a short head.
The third head went to John Lambe’s red jacketed 7-4 chance Affane Party (Sparta Maestro-Affane Katie, Jun 14). The 15.19 winner was followed home by Swift Alexis (T4 5-1) and Ballymac Healy (T2 6-4f).

Millroad Smokey (Droopys Cain-Millroad Mac, Jun 15) was certainly not the most high profile runner at Perry Barr on Saturday but his 42.99 (710m – FOY) victory suggests we will hear a lot of more him.
The Stuart Buckland trained 9-2 chance who has been flitting between A1 and minor 630m opens at Monmore, came from last to first to win a St.Leger Trialstake. Runner-up Zenas Treacle lost nothing in her half length defeat with both Garryglass Champ and Fizzypop Buddy down the field
Prolific Rubys Rascal (Razldazl George-Swift Eva, Jul 14) beat Treacle’s litter brother Clares Kyletaun and the year’s fastest 660 winner Geelo Monty in 43.12 in the top division. The other trialstake went to Shreyas Solitair (Holdem Spy-Wont Fall Behind, Aug 15) in 43.63.
