If you are going to copy someone else’s homework, at least make sure you pick the nerdy kid. Messers Gander and Hunt both confidently went ‘all in’ on Teaboy Russet (highly suspicious!) and flunked the test. They are currently waiting outside the headmaster’s office.
Meanwhile some semblance of normality has returned to the universe. Mark Wallis edged Tiffield Blueboy (£90 @ 5-4) over Have A Brandy and that was the way they finished for a £102.50 profit. Paul Binks also scraped into the profit column after tipping Goldies Hoddle (£60 @ 8-11) for a £3.64 profit.
Meanwhile at Nottingham, ‘Big Price Bellis‘ weighed in again with a £25 @ 6-1 winner for a £75 profit, while newbie Terence Urquhart went for a £75 on 5-2 chance for a £162.50 profit. Big Mark Pierrepont went big and missed big, though his record for unearthing handy tipsters is proving altogether more successful.
HOVE
It’s on. Seamus Cahill has had a full week of ironing and will attempt to level the series and save his back further punishment up against the missus. The instigator of all this – old golden voice himself, Darrell Williams, apparently needs taking down a peg or two (according to Mrs C) after showboating a nap-lay-and trap challenge trio on RPGTV this week. Go girl!

Coleman’s Flyer (R1 ) only had 2 races in A1 and ran very well He will appreciate the extra 15 metres and the longer run to the bend Last race £50 win
Zascandil (R12 T4) ran well here before lock down and done a nice trial here last week £40 win £10 double
Sheldan (R9 T1) I have a bit of a soft spot for Kevin Boon’s bitch who despite winning the Summer Stayers Classic last year doesn’t quite get the respect she deserves. A close-up third in last years Regency confirms her Hove 695 record and she can use her inside draw to snatch an expected early advantage. £70 win
SHEFFIELD
Just the two tipsters at Sheffield tonight. Nick Taylor has not been dropped from the squad, he seemingly missed the bus. Though there could be some changes for next time. But if you are looking for a man in form, Sheffield team captain Carl Perry’s last three meetings: £85 profit, £95 profit, £150 profit.

A decent card at Sheffield tonight with the final off the first A1/A2 kennel stakes . Just the 3 runners for the kennel I’m going with just the two selections tonight .
Joella Reggie (R8 T1) can only be described as a absolute winning Machine over the last couple off years for connections he’s just turned 4 and has racked up 26 wins from 70 runs he lines up in A2 tonight and I see this as a week A2 compared to the other one on the night (race 5). A winner 2 runs back in the grade one off his best starts should see him race to turn in front and go on to win the biggest danger will come from his kennel mate in 6 if there’s any crowding at the first bend but with a clear run I see reggie adding another win to his name £50 win
Only fair I stick with a dog that I tipped up last week in the heats Rockforest Hugo (R11 T3). He’s drawn to perfection. Slow starting staying types in two and three should see him lead round just off the pace behind likely leader Droopys Wild. I can see Hugo just getting up close home to take this kennel stake final. £50 win
