Taylor to be TV star turn
Having never been beaten in all five races in excess of 800 metres, it is impossible to ignore Ballymac Taylor’s chances in the Stadium Bookmakes TV Trophy Final tonight at Oxford.
In all probability, Garfiney Blaze will lead, sister Taylor should secure a decent slot on the rail behind him and then look to pick him off in the later stages.
But although the track record holder has the clock on her side, it isn’t by a significant margin and there are plenty of traffic issues over two laps in what is a high class field. Here are the thoughts of Mark Wallis who has the top two in the betting and the race overall.
Here is a reminder of the three semi finals:
Savana Jazz – Ballymac Taylor – Bubbly Inferno
Betting: 8/11 Ballymac Taylor, 3/1 Garfiney Blaze, 6/1 Savana Jazz, 12/1 Aayamza Dancer, 16/1 Bubbly Inferno, 33/1 Alright Patricia
Despite the wealth of open racing being staged today, it is a very high class card with 12 supporting opens including appearances of several intended Bet365 Hunt Cup runners headed by Greyhound of the Year, Droopys Clue taking on the similarly sponsored Challenge Cup winner Havana Top Note. Royalty to rule at Central Park
With all five of the top six in the betting, it would be absurd not to highlight the anticipated role that the KSS Sydndicate runners will have in the three semi finals of the ARC Plate at Central Park.
