A night of top-class open racing at Hove with the semi-finals of the Coral Olympic supported by the heats of the Coral Brighton Belle , the George Curtis and Ballyregan Bob Memorial and also the Kathleen Kis Memorial.  The only other race on the night is a top grade A1 to get things underway.  This ladies and gentleman is what Saturday evening greyhound racing should look like here in the UK.
Carol Weatherall’s Trumps Benefit currently heads the ante post market for the Olympic with him trading as low as 7/2 in places up to a maximum of 5/1.  ‘Benefit’ attempts to progress to next week’s final when he lines up in semi-final 3 at 756pm.
Seamus Cahill’s Pocket Lola heads the ante post betting ahead of her first-round engagement in the heats of the Brighton Belle.  ‘Lola’ has excelled this year with 19 victories but without doubt her two most high profile have come on the British Bred scene where a BGBF Truframe British Bred Champion Stakes victory on English Derby Final night at Towcester was followed up with a stunning victory in the final of the Seventy Fifth Produce Stakes at Swindon.
Aayamza Royale heads the betting for the George Curtis & Ballyregan Bob Memorial with Mark Wallis’s superstar marathon performer put in at between 5/2 and 11/4.  It’s a high-class field though and ‘Royale’ will have to be at her very best stepping back to 740m which is a trip no doubt a fair way short of her optimum.

The Kathleen Kis Memorial Trophy run over 500m adds even more interest to a quality card and any greyhound racing enthusiasts able to attend the track tonight would be strongly encouraged to do so.
