Sheffield trainer Russ Warren has been enjoying quite a bit of success with the Ian Greaves-bred “Swift” prefixed racers and he landed a very nice double with a couple of them at the South Yorkshire track on Friday when he won both A1’s on the card.
The in-form Swift Ranger led the way when he completed a hat-trick of successes with a half-length success over Princess Sofia in 28.88 for the 500 metres on a track rated 30 spots fast and two races later Swift Stranraer completed the twosome by beating Bartnick Bound by two lengths in 28.84.
