Ruby to shine at Tralee

Dromscara Ruby can remain unbeaten in the Lee Strand 550 at Tralee, which reaches the semi-final stage on Friday.

John O’Sullivan’s bitch boasts a best 29.94sec recorded in the second round and she can confirm last week’s form with main rival Droopys Hip Hop, who followed her home.

Musical Dawn can make it three wins from four races in the second qualifier.

Larry Enright’s bitch won in the opening round in a fastest 29.90sec and clocked 30.23sec when coming from behind on a slow track.

She can prove too strong for Shane O’Neill’s Touchdown Jacko, who clocked a fast 30.06sec in round two.
