Dromscarra Ruby likes the Cork air and can take a further step towards another title in the county with victory in the semi-finals of the Easytrip Parking Open Bitch Stake over 525 yards at Cork.
John O’Sullivan’s bitch landed the Southern Oaks at Youghal and looks the one to beat in this competition after her 28.36sec victory in last week’s heats.
She is capable of turning in a handy position before opening up along the far side.
Garryglass Lulu, who won another heat in 28.63sec, is a danger, along with Sporting Press Oaks runner-up Hovex Princess.
Sean Roche’s runner Ballymartin Bell can take the other qualifier. She has a great winning record landing half her 30 races and last week made all to record 28.41sec.
Puppy Oaks runner-up Skywalker Pearl is the main threat.
