Irish Trainer John McGee added some spice into the mix of the ECC Timber Oaks, which starts at Belle Vue on Saturday, by entering Skywalker Rossa for the bitches’ classic.
The bitch, an October 2013 daughter of 2011 Derby winner Taylors Sky out of Rossa Baby, has only had four races, most recently winning the Newbridge Oaks and finishing runner-up to Yahoo Parlena in an open on Saturday’s prestigious Night of the Stars card at Shelbourne, will line up in a good contest for heat two that includes Roswell Flo Jo and Droopys Sarafina.
Competition sponsor PJ Fahy is represented by the Charlie Lister-trained pair Tyrur Caroline, who will race from trap three in heat five and Tyrur Dickie, who has drawn the three box in the seventh qualifier.
