Skywalker Rory set the standard in the semi-finals of the Kerry Agribusiness St Leger over 550 yards at Limerick on Saturday.
Frances O’Donnell’s railer got off to a flyer from trap five and went on to beat Tyrur Tommy by five lengths in 29.63sec.
Third place went to the favourite Offshore Bound, who did well to qualify for next week’s final after missing his break.
Peregrine Falcon justified 7-4 favouritism in the opening qualifier.
Pat O’Brien’s Derby finalist blasted out of the boxes and made all to beat Jaytee Valencia by three lengths in 29.70sec.
Champion Stakes winner was a further neck behind in third place.
