Fivestar Clipper moved into joint third place on the Romford open race winner’s list with another 575m victory on final night.
The Derek Knight trained brindle joined great rival Adageo Bob and former local favourite Denmarknick with 27 victories, just one win off second spot held by Ronnies Boss.
Heading the all-time winners list is former sprint star Heavens Malchik on 35 victories.
It was Clipper’s 50th race at the track, Bob got there in 40. However there is still plenty of time for the Hove runner who isn’t four until August and his 34.86 was his second fastest run over course and distance.
Earlier on the card there was a remarkable run by 17 month old Droopys Ring (Tullymurry Act-Droopys Blossom, Sep 14).
The black youngster, who was beaten in her first two outings clocked 23.78 for the 400 metres, just seven spots slower than Scolari Sound’s fastest-of-year.
Ring is a litter sister to Gymcrack winner Droopys Trapeze and Irish Cesarewitch winner Droopys Acrobat.
The dam, who was just turned two when she was covered, was bred by Nick Savva from a litter by Wheres Pedro out of Westmead Ourora that included prolific Hove open winner Westmead Lola.
The night also featured a 585-1 four-timer (from six runners) for Sittingbourne’s Frank Gray.
The quartet included two of the three winners in the ‘Winner of One’ Stayers Stakes
