I am pleased to confirm that Romford will be open again for Racing from tonight. However for this weekend’s race meetings – Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday night – we will be operating with limited facilities in the Main Stand, the Millennium Stand will not be in use.
We will therefore be operating to a limited capacity at these three meetings.
The Pavilion will be open to racegoers for bar and toilet facilities.
We would like to reassure all our regular customers and the local community around the stadium that in closing the stadium and its limited reopening we have been taking a precautionary approach to issues identified in our internal safety checks and this is the same approach we are taking with our partial reopening.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused and hope to be able to return to normality as soon as possible.
