Romford are looking to contract a tenth trainer to top up their graded strength.
Racing manager in waiting Mark Arkell said: “We have around 480 dogs available and when the opens fill, it is ample. But it is still a little lower than we would like going forward. We are probably looking for around another 30 dogs.”
