There is some good news for British breeding with Liz Mort, Keeper of the Greyhound Stud Book reporting an apparent rise in British bred litters.
The exact figures are difficult to monitor due to registrations often lagging many months behind whelping dates. Nevertheless, Liz reports that the number of litters registered between Jan-Dec ’17 was 238, compared to 212 for the equivalent period last year.
