Wimbledon trainer Richard Rees is to join the training strength at Hove.
A statement from Richard Rees Racing said: “We are pleased to announce that following Wimbledon’s announcement to close we will now be training at Hove Greyhound Stadium. Having trained at Wimbledon for 3 generations and having always stuck by it we are obviously saddened with the news, however, we are very excited to start a new chapter at Hove and want to thank our owners and staff for their loyal support as we now all look forward to moving together.”
Coral’s Head of Stadia David MacDonald said: “We have been aware of Richard for some time, he is a top professional. I visited his set-up which is top class and signed him up on the spot.”
