Ballymac Frano (Ballymac Vic-Ballymac Sue, ) recorded the fastest Shawfield 480 in almost a year when landing the fastest RPGTV Scottish Derby Trialstake on Saturday.
Danny Gomersall’s blue, who attacked another runner in a Nottingham open last summer looked a fully reformed character with a 29.06 five and a half length win. (The fastest time of 2015 was La Cuchilla’s 28.91).
The other trialstakes went to Halcrow Bound (29.59), Velvet Viking (29.88), and Sidarian Blitz (29.64).
