Following widespread industry rumours, Entain have confirmed the departure of Daniel Rankin.
Entain spokesman Leo Walker confirmed: “Daniel Rankin has left his position as the Racing Manager at Hove and as a result, leaves Entain at the end of this calendar year. 
“We have a very experienced racing office team that will manage without issue whilst we have a vacancy recruiting for a new Racing Manager, with Jeff Piper overseeing the team in the interim. 
“I wish Daniel and his family all the best for the future”
