Ballymac Ramsey (Droopys Scolari-Ballymac Razl, Mar 14) became trainer Barrie Draper’s and breeder Liam Dowling’s fourth Racing Post Juvenile winner in a style that saw him cut to 33-1 to land the Williamhill.com Greyhound Derby in three months time.
The Puppy Derby fourth, was last dog in a blanket sectional covered by half a length but made full use of his inside slot to take the lead and then hold off Lenson Panda by a nod under two lengths in 28.65. It was his ninth win in 15 opens.
