Romantic Rambo, who broke a hock in the second round of the St Leger at Wimbledon last November, had his first trial back at Nottingham on Monday.
Kevin Cobbold’s Wimbledon and Nottingham record holder clocked a useful 18.07sec in a solo trial over 305 metres.
Charlie Lister’s Cribb clocked the fastest time over 500 metres, recording 29.96sec in a solo trial.
Pat Rosney’s Shawfield Puppy Cup winner Vatican Ghurka did 29.99sec.
