Razldazl Raidio was cut to 7-2f by the sponsors for the forthcoming William Hill Springbok after clocking the fastest time in Thursday night’s trialstakes.
Ricky Holloway’s black recorded 29.16 over Wimbledon 480 metre hurdle course, a time that was only bettered twice in 2015, Alittlelesslip (29.11) and Con Te Partiro (29.13). The Dolores Ruth bred star led up and raced to an 11 length win in a field that included the previous favourite Kentish Man (3rd).
The night’s other qualifiers went to Barnish Panther (29.88), El Pedro (29.82) and Brinkleys Dominic (29.43).
The new 7-2 favourite, who was at best, ‘clumsy’, in his first two races at Harolds Cross, had previously clocked 29.30 (-30) in a solo trial.
