SONNY DA BOY (Romford)
He is well drawn on the rails and will be running on. Realistically I hope he can pick up a few places late on and we will take whatever points we get.
HINBOS LAD (Nottingham)
He is stepping up in company from the juvenile section to get Hollygate Best into the team. Trap two is perfect , and he is not without a chance, but realistically I would be delighted with a place in the first three.
CROOKS EMPORIO (Newcastle)
I wouldn’t say he is one of our three bankers but I expect him to run a big race. He has already won at Sheffield, wants trap three, has a flying sectional in his trial and stays 500. He must have a live chance.
SWIFT BRAVO (Towcester)
If this race was being run at home, he would have a tremendous chance; he is as good as anything at the track. But he has not been the most reliable away from home. He has the ability and could surprise us.
GEELO OLYMPIC (Sheffield)
This is one of those I thought was badly drawn, but I think four could move in and six, without a trial may move off. The one thing you can guarantee about Olympic is his bravery. If he gets to the turn, he will force his way through
CRACKER JOKE (Peterborough)
We lost Ardera Slam who would have been our runner here but connections were kind enough to give us Cracker Joke. He had previously been reserve on a couple of occasions. He ran very well at Henlow though he hasn’t trialled at Perry Barr
