Quietly moved back into favourite’s position after taking the fastest semi final of the Greyhound & Petworld Supersprint at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.
Ian Reilly’s former track record holder was six spots outside the 330 yard track record with a 17.30 three length victory over Ballymacs ‘Big Mike’ and ‘Sexton’.
Quietly’s kennelmate Heehaw Sexton was unable to justify his 4-6f price tag in the other qualifier. He trapped just behind Toolmakers Pal and was unable to seize the initiative. Robert Gleeson’s runner stayed on to win in 17.48.
