Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II earlier today, greyhound racing was cancelled at the four meetings scheduled to take place on Thursday evening.
In accordance with accepted protocol, greyhound racing is likely to be suspended on Friday September 9.
Racing will resume on Saturday September 10 until Sunday Setember 18 with Monday September 19 assumed to be a day of national mourning to coincide with the royal funeral and no racing will take place.
