The Vulturi @ Stud Kingdom Derby over 525 yards at Tralee on Friday has attracted a decent line-up.
Tipperary Cup winner Black Tom, who clocked 28.71sec in the heats, which was the fastest time of the round on heavy ground, can get first run on main rival and 2014 Puppy Derby winner Quietly in the first heat.
Amazing Dude, who was an unlucky runner-up in the Produce Stakes, clocked 28.93sec last week and can take the second heat. Sole wide runner Baltovin Leo could be the main threat.
2014 Derby Plate winner Laughil Bolt can get back in winning ways in the last qualifier and repel main rival and UK Puppy Derby Finalist Droopys Nine, who was surprisingly caught after relinquishing a clear lead last week.
Owen McKenna’s Swords Fern, who won his qualifier in 29.04sec, is given the vote in the third qualifier.
