The Ladbrokes Puppy Derby runner-up (Loughteen Blanco-Droopys Cyclone, Jun 16) recorded a flying 515 sectional and then became fastest over the course this year when beating King Kid by three and a half lengths in 28.87. Bruisers Bullet – who has a 28.78 run on his card – finished third.

Rising Brandy – who beat Verve at Monmore, recorded the fastest time of the pre-meeting trial session.
