A reminder to trainers that Perry Barr’s Cat 3 and minor opens originally scheduled for Thursday 22nd September have been put back a week alongside the PGR St Leger and M Lambe Construction Birmingham Cup Finals.
There are Cat 3 races each worth £500 to the winner (£100 for others) in the following categories: 275m Dash, 480m Standard, 480m Bitches, 480m Puppy, 660m Stayers, 710m Super Stayers and 915m Marathon, together with a 480m Maiden (£250/£60).
As a result, the PGR Oaks and ARC Scurry Trial Stakes originally scheduled for Thursday 29th have been cancelled, as these categories are already represented amongst the Cat 3’s. Revised closing date is 11am on Monday 26th September.
Plus – in addition to the usual trial sessions before each race meeting, there will be a stand-alone trial session on the morning of Friday 30th September to cater for prospective PGR Oaks entries.
