Monmore came out the big winners of the Perry Barr leg of the BAGS/SIS Track Championship.
Although the hosts amassed 60 points and won the day, it was largely courtesy of their ‘two runners per pace’ race advantage.
The hosts won two legs but were matched by Monmore whose haul of 37points saw them narrowly increase their advantage in the Midlands/Southern region, which remains the closest of all the divisions. There are two legs remaining at Poole and Swindon.
