A fantastic start to the permit petition (see earlier). Have given myself a fortnight to compile 200 names to present to the GBGB to show the depth of feeling. Within four hours, the figure is already 47 – some with lovely words of encouragement and thanks.
Wasn’t expecting any of that – so now even more certain that this thing has to fly. 200 extra trainers would make a considerable difference to the greyhound industry.
But there is a long way to go – not everyone will either support or pass on any idea suggested by me personally. To quote Churchill – Continuous effort not, not strength of intelligence is the key to unlocking our potential.
We’ll give it a go!
