Alan Findlay has stepped in to give Pelaw Grange’s meeting on Mother’s Day a welcome boost.
He will be sponsoring an open competition under the Pinopoint banner that will be for 18 greyhounds over the standard strip, with three heats on Sunday, March 8, leading to a final worth £500 to the winner a week later.
The track will also be staging the BMW Windows Handicap over three rounds, with heats on Saturday February 28, semi-finals on March 8 and the final, which will also have a first prize of £500, on the Mother’s Day programme, which will also feature one-off opens over 245, 435 and 590 metres, sponsored by Pinpoint, Savva Roberts, Winning Lines and Total Recycling Services.
