Newinn Yolo’s injury has been confirmed as a cracked bone in a foreleg but trainer Pat Rosney is already making plans for the dog’s return.
He said: “Vet Diane Hodson confirmed my suspicions and all things considered it could be a lot worse. Yolo will be restricted for the next month but then we can start to walk him as usual. He will also be treated with the laser throughout the period. The aim is the All England Cup in October, and at this stage it seems do-able.”
IN the meantime, Pat and partner Julie and celebrating June McCombe’s 70th birthday today. Asked what he has in mind for ‘the mother in law’ he replied: “I was going to organise a stripper for her, but since we are saving money, its going to be me.”
