The Dublin Coach Juvenile Derby looks at the mercy of Lenson Panda or Jaytee Dutch after the quarter finals over 525 yards at Harolds Cross.

The pair served up a thriller in their third eliminator, which was run in some 46 spots faster than any of the other three qualifiers.

Lenson Panda, going for a nine-timer, was put in a 4-7 chance for the race and punters were in clover as he was clear down the back straight.

However Jaytee Dutch closed rapidly into the third turn but was cut off by the favourite, who went on to score by a length in 28.44sec.

The owner and trainer combination of Len Ponder and Pat Buckley were also on the mark in heat two when their Lenson Santi made all the running to hold Newlawn Ned by half a length in 29.07sec.

Pat Guilfoyle’s Skywalker Archie led off the second turn in the last eliminator to beat Black Alder by a length in 28.93sec.

Ian Reilly’s Hee Haws Sheriff landed the opening qualifier in trap to line fashion when coming home three lengths clear of Anopheles in 28.90sec.
