The Pat Buckley-trained and Kenny Glen-owned Glengar Scholar, who was fourth in the recent Juvenile Classic final at Tralee, was cut from 40-1 to 22-1, while Peter Cronin’s Kildare has been clipped into 33-1 from 66-1.
FOLLOWING the Sheffield firm’s support of the BresBet Easter Cup, which concluded at Shelbourne Park last week and saw superstar Susie Sapphire land another title, attention has now turned to the prestigious Kirby Memorial.
The world’s richest juvenile greyhound competition has been hosted at Limerick Greyhound Stadium since its inception in 2013 and is sponsored by Noreen and JP McManus in honour of Noreen’s parents, Con and Annie Kirby.
The event boasts the biggest prize-fund in Ireland after the Irish Greyhound Derby with a total prize-fund of €150,000.
