John McGee’s dog clocked the fastest time of the year in the heats with 21.23sec and last week made all to beat Kilgraney Forty by three lengths in 21.42sec.
He faces ante-post second favourite Catherines Drico but he can come through victorious.

Kilgraney Kid can take the second qualifier.
Thomas Buggy’s dog is the only other unbeaten in the event and landed his second round heat in 21.62sec. He is drawn to perfection in trap one.
Patrick Cocoman’s Afro Jack looks the main threat as he is the only wide seed and has performed well in defeat behind the big guns.
