Reculver Ozzie made just about all in the William Hill Springbok Final over 480 metres hurdles writes Jason Craddock.
Barry O’Sullivan’s runner made a slight mistake at the fourth flight which allowed Final Farloe to close up but Reculver Ozzie regained his momentum to go one again and score by three quarters of a length in 30.05sec.
O’Sullivan said afterwards: “He nearly threw it all away but in the end he did it well.
“Dad Terry and I have schooled many winners over the years but this our first and it’s brilliant.”
