Oxford Racing Manager Simon Pearson sees tonight’s rescheduled Bet365 Challenge semi finals as likely to be determined by two standoffs.

The first should see a titanic struggle between the two hounds entered from Imperial Kennels, Muxton Lottie and Antigua Sugar. The sponsors have Juvenile Classic winner Antigua Sugar as their 6-5 ante post favourite and an even money favourite for tonight’s semi with Lottie a 9-4 chance.

Simon said: “I think the three can win it. Russmur Queen isn’t blessed with great early and I think Muxton Lottie can dominate from the front. Sugar is the obvious danger and I can see Matt Dartnall’s bitch finishing well to take third.”

The grader is more closely alligned with the sponsors in terms of the second semi final. They have the Hunt Cup winner Chelms Cub as their 4-5f with Droopys Garden next in at 9-4.

Simon said: “I think it is between the pair and I can’t oppose Chelms Cub. He is a class dog and he seems to be running the track better with every visit.”
