Farloe Rumble and Go Django can give Owen McKenna a double in the second round of the GMHD Juvenile Classic over 525 yards at Tralee tonight.
Go Django looks the best bet in the third qualifier. The son of Shoemakers Lad who was impressive last week when winning in 28.51sec, is again drawn in an ideal midfield slot and his superior early pace can take him clear.
Fire Height Tosh, who came from off the pace last week to catch Coolavanny Kerry and score in 28.73sec, and Lenson Premier, who qualified in 28.57 before making a mess of the opening round, are the main threats.
Farloe Rumble, who landed his heat last week in 28.45sec, is fancied to land the second qualifier.
The son of Ace Hi Rumble faces a tricky draw in four with plenty of pace on his inner but can come through to score at the main expense of fellow heat winner Aguasantas.
Sidarian Vega, who set the standard last week with 28.41sec, can take the fourth heat.
Graham Holland’s runner is the only heat winner in the race and with a lack of early pace in the race, is expected to quickly establish a race winning lead.
Ballymac Matt who does his best work late looks the main threat.
Noel Browne’s Coolavanny Kerry, just touched off by Fire Height Tosh last week, is fancied to land the opening qualifier.
