The jewel in the crown of greyhound racing, London White City, stages its last meeting. Racegoers had been told that the track would close the following Saturday and it was left to local grader Hastings Girl to win the last race for Tom Foster. By the time, the GRA announced that the track would not race again, the infrastructure was already being dismantled.
