The historic Oaks Trophy
ARC have announced a change of meeting for the first round of the Oaks.
ARC Greyhound Operations Director Rachel Corden said: “We have listened to concerns raised with the timings of the twelve races for the First Round of The Oaks with Perry Barr running in the morning. As a result we will be switching Perry Barr’s morning meeting with Newcastle’s afternoon meeting on Saturday 9 October.
“This gives those trainers and greyhounds travelling from further afield, in both the North and the South, a more sensible time to travel for kenneling.
“For the Second Round on 16 October the last 6 races (12.36pm onwards) of the morning card will be scheduled for The Oaks races and a second kenneling offered at 11am“
