Hayley Keightley was a busy lady on Saturday as she took a team of six up to Manchester for trials ahead of the ECC Timber Oaks and Laurels.
On a track running an estimated 20 spots slow, three of her squad went under the 28 second barrier – Roxholme Hottie (27.89), Roxholme Barkley (27.93) and Roxholme Scolari (27.95), but fastest of the session was a 27.83 by Bromwich Sue from Lynn Cook’s kennel, with Patrick Janssens’ Roswell Flo Jo just five pips behind that.
Geraldine Kovak’s Clounamon Queen was best over the 260 metres with a 15.47, followed by Keightley’s On Alert (15.53) and George Power’s All England Cup winner Farloe Nutter (15.75).
