Mark Bird, Chief Executive of GBGB said:
“The Kennelhand of the Year Award is a really important and exciting category in our awards programme. Recognising some of our sport’s most hard-working individuals, this award shines a light on the excellent care our greyhounds receive on a daily basis. Along with trainers, kennelhands work long, unsociable hours to ensure the needs of the greyhounds in their care are properly met. This award is an opportunity to recognise and thank them for their hard work and commitment.
“I have no doubt there will be a strong field of nominees and I look forward to welcoming those shortlisted to our awards ceremony in Sheffield.”
Tickets for the event are due to go on sale shortly. Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels for further details.
